Job Description

The Sr. Computer Network Technologist I for CCTT support works with the U.S. Army customer team to design, develop, revise and validate interactive computer-systems and software support in the field. This position primarily supports CCTT at Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Job duties include:

• Uses specialized training device computer software and/or hardware to develop, integrate and edit instructional text, audio, graphics, animation and video for interactive presentations.
• Implements quality control and review and revision procedures throughout the courseware development process.
• Applies basic military technical knowledge to solve standard problems, follows detailed instructions, performs such tasks as supporting quality / ISO, security and safety training programs.
• Ensures the IS networks are fully operational, in compliance with IA and cybersecurity requirements, and available for scheduled rotational support missions.
• Receives trouble calls and analyzes issues to provide resolution from other sies and other sub-contractor personnel.
• Makes accurate, timely and complete entries into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS) for reporting and documenting actions.
• Manages and maintains networks including configuration and loading new system software as directed by Govt. customer.
• Operates Computer Workstations and performs PMCS on equipment.
• Provides functional direction for lower-level assistants. Manages CCTT hardware and software including the system network and exercises database.
• Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage. Will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation, including ranges.

Job Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering or related Computer Science discipline, or 8+ years of equivalent job experience.
• Past experience as a Computer Technologist or related position.
• Prefer past work experience with military simulation devices or related equipment.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues, and document events for further reporting to Prime Contractor. CompTIA A+, RHEL Linux Administration Proficient, CompTIA Network+ and C++ certified preferred.
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.
• Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
• Must have or be able to obtain an active Government SECRET clearance.
• Must be able to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Will be cross trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.
