Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Windsor Locks, CT that is a world leading manufacturer of business aircraft with a global network of service centers. They are committed to building their products with the future in mind – making them reliable and more efficient, while contributing to highly favorable operating costs. They masterfully design private jets and signature moments through an extensive portfolio of innovative products. The facility has received 21 consecutive FAA Diamond Awards and is actively involved in the Hartford community, spearheading programs to create awareness about aviation maintenance among local students and to help close the gender gap in the industry. We are looking for skilled A&P Technicians to assist with this client's production needs.


The A&P Technician troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.


Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to Company's General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positions.
  • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Company's Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hangar positions.
  • Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.
  • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.
  • Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft
  • Assist with aircraft component repair.
  • Assist with engine removal / installation.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.


  • A & P Certificate
  • Have at least 2 years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
  • Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
  • Must be able to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
  • Have the ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
  • Have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside.
  • Have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)
  • Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft - preferred.
  • Basic PC skills - preferred.
