Our food manufacturing client is currently seeking a Packaging Engineer. The Packing Engineer is coordinating all packing projects to ensure packing performance on the production lines. They oversee all projects relating to primary and secondary packaging requested by Company business development, from project specification to shopfloor implementation. They are also in charge of ensuring that product / packaging / and process are delivering optimized performance. In this role, the packing engineer reports to the manufacturing manager and is highly interacting with the R&D and procurement team. This job will have the following responsibilities: Coordinate the development with supplier/R&D/operation/customer.From brief to necessary industrial trial (transit trial)According to master project planning Design final cutter guide Audit scheduling if necessaryEstablish specification and associated quality control plan.Establish dedicated SOP for shopfloor.Ensuring successful launch for first run New Packing machine investmentPart of project group and a significant contributorResponsible for associated packaging development. Establish and follow up planning. Responsible for FAT and SAT implementation and conclusionCoordination with supplier Data Report for validation Attend to scale up and first production. Current packaging and line Optimize organization and process parameters for best packing efficiency.
