As the Plant Oiler, you will be responsible for assisting the Plant Operator with daily housekeeping, maintenance, and repairs on an asphalt plant, and you will be responsible for directing drivers as they deliver materials to the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance and repairs for the plant as directed by the Plant Operator.
• Directs truck drivers delivering material to the plant.
• Responsible for daily housekeeping for the plant,
• Keeps equipment clean and prepares the plant for the move when needed.
• Maintains orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at job site.
• Follows supervisor's instructions closely.

• An ability to mentor, train, and manage employees.
• Strong ability to solve problems quickly and as needed.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work with various people and positions.
• An unwavering focus on safety.
• Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly work extended | overtime hours outdoors and in various weather conditions at all project locations.
• Travel is required.
