Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead Technologist will maintain departmental standards of quality in management of services, personnel and resources for the clinical division. Coordinates, supervises and evaluates daily operational needs. Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining division within budgetary guidelines. Researches, plans and implements new services. Helps develop Technologist Technicial and Clinical Skills. Acts a liaison between imaging modalities including IRCU and other Nursing units. Adheres to departmental policy and procedures. Assist Supervisor with evaluations, ordering supplies, inventory and counseling when necessary. Performs procedures according to departmental policy and protocols on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations, demonstrating competency based upon their specific population group and meets standards of quality as measured by the QLP process.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• High School Graduate / GED
