Lead Painter - Industrial Paint Department

Kasson & Keller has an immediate opening for a Lead Painter in our Industrial Paint Department!

Previous paint box in an industrial setting is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Full-Time Schedule No Nights! Shift hours are 6am - 4:30pm

Starting Hourly Pay: $18-$20/hr depending on your experience and knowledge. Full-Time Scheduling and Overtime is Available.

Industrial Lead Painter Scope of Work:

To be a successful manufacturing plant and warehouse worker, you should work with consistent speed and accuracy. As an outstanding worker, you should maintain production standards and improve productivity without compromising quality.

On a day-to-day basis, you will help manage and run the custom paint department program. You will be responsible for learning all facets of how to effectively run and manage the entire department with the goal of one day taking over the department as lead. There may be times when this department is a "one-man show" so learning how to maintain pace is important. You will be working in a factory setting so there are loud noises, lots of movement, and a production line with high activity around the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Prep box window for custom paint
• Maintain consistent Quality
• Manage an organized and clean work environment
• Willingness to learn and grow the department
• Manage a weekly production schedule and understand the required expectations
• Order products as needed
• Train extra help as needed based on current workloads
