Correctional LVN

We are currently seeking a Correctional Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care in an institutional rehabilitation setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attending sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents, preparing a list of inmates/residents to be examined, and preparing the exam room and equipment.
• Operating pill calls, dispensing medication, and documenting as required by applicable policies and procedures.
• Controlling medication, syringes, and other medical supplies or equipment and maintaining inventory as required.
• Assisting the supervisor with evaluating the provision of all medical services to prevent inappropriate use or duplication of services.
