Asphalt Paver Operator, Fence Installer, Paving Estimator/Sales. Mechanic/Tech

Colonial Beach Auto, a reputable Full-Service Collision Center, Auto Body Repair, Paint Shop, and Computerized Auto Repair business, is currently hiring for multiple positions in the field of Asphalt Paving and Installation. We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Asphalt Paver Operators, Fence Installers, Paving Estimators/Sales, and Mechanics/Techs.

Asphalt Paver Operator Responsibilities

• Operate and control asphalt paving machines to ensure smooth and precise placement of asphalt
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and quality
• Coordinate with other crew members to ensure efficient paving operations
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on paving equipment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations

Fence Installer Responsibilities

• Install and repair fences of various types and materials
• Measure and mark layout lines to ensure accurate placement of posts and panels
• Dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and set fence posts
• Secure panels, gates, and other fence components
• Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Paving Estimator/Sales Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and proposals for paving projects
• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and preferences
• Recommend appropriate paving solutions and materials
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
• Build and maintain relationships with customers

Mechanic/Tech Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment and manual tools
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• For Asphalt Paver Operator:
• Prior experience operating asphalt paving machines
• For Fence Installer:
• Previous experience in fence installation preferred
• For Paving Estimator/Sales:
• Strong knowledge of paving industry and materials
• For Mechanic/Tech:
• Prior experience as an automotive/vehicle mechanic or technician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
