Quality Assurance Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a West Campus QA Technician to join their team. As a West Campus QA Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: West Campus QA Technician
Location: Tualatin, OR
Pay Range: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications

What’s the Job?

• Assure that the product conforms to the product specification through sensory evaluation, analytical testing, and process plant observation.
• Provide detailed written information relating to the quality of the product and process.
• Perform organoleptic tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to procedure.
• Maintain organized QA records.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment including pH meters, moisture analyzers, refractometers, and others.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent specializing in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• One year of relevant experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to push, pull, or move up to 150 pounds and lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently.
