Applicator-Operations Technician

Do you enjoy operating large equipment and spending time outdoors? Do you have or desire to obtain a Class A CDL and Commercial Applicator's License? Do you want a dependable career with the opportunity for overtime? AgState has the perfect opportunity for you!

Under the direction of the Location Leader and/or Regional Leader, you will operate equipment to perform custom application including but not limited to dry fertilizer and post-emergence.

You Will:

• Operate necessary equipment to perform customer application:
  1. Handle Ag chemicals and fertilizer
  2. Tend a post sprayer as needed
  3. Understand chemical rates, uses, and restrictions
• Maintain and assist in the operations of the facility:
  1. Perform outside maintenance
  2. Perform basic maintenance on application equipment
  3. Perform daily maintenance checks on all running equipment and trucks
  4. Prepare grain rail cars and load cars according to specifications as needed
• Abide by all AgState values and practices by:
  1. Working in a safe and efficient manner
  2. Utilizing good customer service at all times
  3. Display superior customer service
  4. Demonstrate work habits that build, and support the team concept
  5. Work overtime as needed
  6. Perform the essential functions of the job

You Have:

• Class A CDL with Hazmat & tanker Endorsement
• Commercial Applicator License
• Prior applicating experience is preferred.
