EverStaff, a recruiting firm, seeks a candidate for our Direct Hire position with a top client, offering excellent work culture, benefits, and growth potential. We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist. The IT Specialist ensures smooth operation of computer systems, offering technical support to users, installing/maintaining hardware, and software, and resolving issues promptly.

Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm (On-Site)
Annual Salary: $30 per hour (daily OT after 8 hours)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain efficient internal computer systems with minimal downtime.
  2. Research and propose software/hardware solutions to the Executive team.
  3. Install, maintain, and procure licenses for hardware/software.
  4. Oversee hardware repairs and vendor work.
  5. Monitor technical performance, suggesting necessary improvements.
  6. Ensure system security and backups.
  7. Monitor network traffic, advising on resource needs.
  8. Assist users with technical queries, emphasizing proper procedures.
  9. Setup and maintain IT infrastructure, including telecom and customer PCs.
  10. Adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  2. 1 year of relevant experience.
  3. Knowledge of security management, LAN/WAN networks, and network protocols.
  4. Proficiency in system administration and hardware troubleshooting.
  5. Familiarity with VMware, backup solutions, and storage.
  6. Strong analytical and communication skills.
  7. Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends. (Overtime Pay)
