Job Summary / Overview
This position is under the supervision of the Operations Manager, assisting in the duties of the Operations team. The intern will learn the responsibilities of an Operator under the supervision of our more senior employees.

- Learn the roles/responsibilities of an Operations team member.
- Obtain industry knowledge from hands-on work.
- Support full compliance to HSSE-related legislation & regulations, corporate requirements, and management system(s) (i.e. operating policies and procedures)
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and/or Training
- Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of a relevant degree, certificate, or workforce training program.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Willing to work in an industrial environment which includes:
- Being available for various shifts.
- Being available for emergency callouts.
- Working both indoors and outdoors.
- Working in different weather conditions.
- Physical demands such as:
- Climbing stairs and ladders and working at elevated heights.
- Adapting to sitting, standing, and kneeling as required.
- Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be 18 years or older at the beginning of employment.

Environmental
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, and moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is exposed to noise from moderate to loud and will be required to wear hearing protection.
Work Schedule
- This temporary position will take place for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2024
