BIG is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Planner who will provide leadership in all facets of the supply chain side of the company. This position will be responsible for purchasing, demand & supply planning and training of Supply Chain team members. They will also report out on all Supply Chain KPI’s to management ensuring accuracy of the data. They will serve as the system expert for our Net Stock Demand & Supply Planning system and manage the training of Brand Planners on the system and recommend replenishment settings for the system to ensure we achieve superior in stocks. This position will work closely with Brand teams and the Supply Chain team to ensure we order the proper amount of inventory to support production in our factories and ultimately support our product sales. The position will report to and work with the Senior Director of Global Planning & Supply Chain to plan and execute short term and long-term strategies to ensure continued success in a fast paced, high growth environment.


The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a fashion-oriented manufacturing environment and have extensive knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning & ERP systems, and inventory management strategy.

  • Advise Brand Planners & Purchasing Agents on demand & supply planning and purchasing Best Practices for their assigned brands/categories/SKUs in Net Suite (ERP) systems leading the Supply Chain team’s replenishment strategy to ensure superior in stocks.
  • Support Brand Planners in the development of their sales forecasts, inventory plans and budgets for their assigned brands and categories collaborating closely with both finance and brand teams.
  • Serve as the system expert for Net Stock (demand & supply planning system) and Net Suite (ERP) systems, training Brand Planners and Purchasing Agents on system capabilities, replenishment strategy and systems best practices.
  • Perform Ad hoc Supply Chain analysis to support BIG’s financial forecasting. Inventory management, acquisition, and profit objectives.
  • Ability to serve as a SWAT Brand Planner (as required by the Supply Chain team) to manage ongoing demand, supply and purchasing functions in the capacity of a Brand Planner to business continuity.
  • Update and manage BIG’s Supply Chain Dashboard, KPI and Excess & Obsolete inventory reporting as required, ensuring accuracy of the data.
  • Manage inventory scrap process.
  • Manage communications between BIG’s global Supply Chain team and the Net Stock team to ensure any system issues get quickly flagged and resolved leading to minimal system downtime.
  • Partner with the S&OP Manager to ensure that all S&OP reports are accurate.
  • Manage the Supply Chain Planning and Cash Flow tools ensuring the accuracy of the data and associated reporting so that spending by brand and for BIG in total runs in alignment with Supply Chain team objectives.
  • Creation and management of new demand & supply planning tools as needed by the business.
  • Create & distribute sales & inventory reporting for internal customers.
  • Manage packaging purchases for the warehouse in Salt Lake City.
  • Case pack optimization and MOQ management and direction.
  • Supports factory capacity and raw material planning (future raw hair, etc.). Materials management & authorizations support as needed.
  • Manages SKU rationalization reporting for all BIG brands and the company, ensuring process follows Best Practices
  • Ad hoc analysis and ability to create reporting as required by the business.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in a demand & supply planning or similar role with strong emphasis on supply & demand planning systems and process oversight.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to implement successful change.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and prior experience working with demand and supply planning systems in a retail and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Net Stock & Net Suite systems experience strongly preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customer support teams.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills (i.e., NetSuite, Grow, Tableau, etc.).
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions while working under time constraints.
  • Must have strong follow up in a fast-moving environment.
  • International procurement and shipping experience a plus.
