Sorrel River Ranch is a luxury property located along the scenic Colorado River surrounded by stunning buttes and mesas. This exclusive 240-acre riverside oasis is 17 miles from Moab, 21 miles from Arches National Park and 43 miles from Canyonlands National Park.

With over 15 years in business, we are looking for team-oriented Dishwasher / Stewarding Team Members to join us in enhancing our team for the 2024 Season. Candidates will be part of a group working together to reposition our service, systems, and culture to help our guests discover the stunning landscapes and adventures of Southern Utah.

Leading Candidates Will Have:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of proper dishwashing techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy kitchen equipment, as well as stand for extended periods.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, ensuring the effective and efficient cleaning of all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and cookware.
• Sort, stack, and store cleaned items in their designated areas.
• Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Always ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
• Handle dishwashing chemicals safely and responsibly.

Work Requirements:   

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule, work Part-Time or Full-Time
• Computer knowledge in the use of PC, Windows, Mews, and other hospitality software applications.
