Fusion Ranch Inc. is a USDA jerky processing facility located in Scottsbluff, NE. The company produces jerky and other meat products. The work environment is fast paced, on your feet, and physical work. We offer a smoke free, drug free work place. Maintenance Technician will work with operations to provide general upkeep, preventative equipment maintenance and repairs within the facility. This candidate must perform all duties in compliance with Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), USDA, State, Federal, and company regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills to support an aggressively growing manufacturing facility.

Hours: Monday through Friday, will occasional Saturdays.

Some of the duties include, but not limited to:

Perform planned Predictive and Preventive Maintenance on all facility equipment. Ability to trend issues, develop and execute plans to ensure a closed loop process to improve equipment reliability.

  • Self-motivated with strong communication and organization skills. Strong computer skills a plus
  • Ability to order parts and track spending, as well as identify areas of opportunity.
  • Work closely with operations to provide technical training to production associates.
  • Able to think critically to solve problems and be detail-oriented to follow complex instructions.
  • Must be fully qualified with documented certifications, and have a minimum of five years mechanical exposure with duties requiring the skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read schematic drawings
  • PLC and automation equipment experience a plus
  • Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to troubleshoot, replacement or repair of electrical equipment
  • Applicant must possess their own good quality hand tools.

A qualified candidate must:

  1. Pass drug test
  2. Pass E-verify (I9)
  3. Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  4. Prior experience in food environment a plus
