100% REMOTE - (Buffalo, NY based) Software Project Manager

We are Main Street Computing, we are a Saas (Software as a Service) company. Our product, OpenCaseware, runs a variety of private and government portals across the country. We are a 100% remote company with flexible work hours. We are looking to hire 2-3 support and software configuration specialists. Your job duties will include:

Meeting regularly with customers, software developers and configuration engineers to ensure that projects a) launch on time b) come in under budget. You will need to learn the platform OpenCaseware, be able to read RFPs and understand software specifications and also have social skills to talk to a variety of different people to ensure that you get accurate information to ensure projects run smoothly.

Duties include:

- talking with customers and documenting requirements

- working with configuration engineers to ensure OpenCaseware is meeting the requirements

- manage scope creep to ensure we are only doing what is in the contract and not jeopardizing successful launch with multiple small incremental out of scope enhancements

- work with QA on the system to ensure the configuration meets the requirements

- participate in remote and sometimes on-site training for customers

- work with staff to develop system documentation

If you have experience configuring Saas applications, such as SalesForce or ServiceNow, that's a great plus, but not necessary.

Nice to have skills and experience:

- PMP - certification is nice to have but not required

- experience with Saas a plus

- experience managing multi-month (often up to 18 months) projects a plus

- social skills and communication skills

- Microsoft Project or other PM software

Because of the nature of our work with governments, you must be:

a) U.S. based

b) a citizen

c) willing to undergo a criminal background check if required for certain projects

d) willing to undergo drug testing if required for certain projects
