Job Description
Our Freight Brokers play a key role in the success of our business, and you will be involve with assisting shippers with getting the best rates on shipping their freight. Other important job duties and responsibilities include:
Using the latest technology and Transportation Management System (TMS).
Gathering information from clients to determine their shipping needs.
Obtaining shipping quotes from our carriers and passing them on to the clients.
Booking and tracking the freight of the clients.
Coordinating the pickup and drop off of shipments.
Monitoring the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly.
Updating customer management software to keep client records accurate.
In-Training:
