Machinists Levels II & III

Pay Range is $21-$33 per hour

First or Second Shift (Weekdays) or First Shift (Weekends) Available:

  • First Shift Hours: Mon-Thu, 5 am - 3:30 pm
  • Second Shift Hours: Mon-Thu, 3 pm - 2:30 am
  • First Shift (Weekend) Hours: Fri, Sat, & Sun, 6 am - 6 pm

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a major medical device manufacturing company located near the Spiceland, IN area. The company is in a major growth phase, and they're looking to add 10+ Level II or Level III CNC Machinists to 2nd shift or the weekend shift and 2+ Machinists to the 1st shift during the week. An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related experience and have experience with both lathes and mills.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up/program CNC machines, inputting the design specifications and ensuring the machine runs as required
  • Perform offsets and change tooling to maintain efficient production
  • Complete and compile documentation related to quality inspection standards
  • Interpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part
  • Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and more
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting of equipment

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related CNC Machining experience
  • Experience machining small metal products and working with tight tolerances
  • High school degree or GED required. Certification from a technical school program preferred.
  • Understanding of G&M code
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to use basic hand-held tools to perform preventive maintenance activities and install or change tools
  • Ability to effectively read and understand blueprints, specifications, and procedures
