CNC Machinist level II and III

Pay Range $26-$33 per hour

First Shift Mon - Thurs

Second Shift- Monday - Thursday (40-45 hours/week)

Weekend Shift (6A-6P) Friday, Saturday and Sunday

 

Aegis has partnered with a top-tier medical device manufacturing facility; that has recently expanded its operation. We are looking to add 20+ new level II and III CNC machinists to our team. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in the industry. Ideal candidates for this role will have experience with both lathes and mills. This facility has an employee engagement area that includes gym equipment, pool tables, dart boards, golden tee and other electronic games.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC machines to manufacture medical parts
  • Read technical blueprints and designs
  • Program CNC machines, inputting the design specifications and ensuring the machine performs as required
  • Regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
  • Use precision tools like micrometers and calipers
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines
  • Keep a detailed record of processes, tool usage, and production output
  • Adhered to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborated with engineers or designers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes

Requirements

  • Three plus years Running CNC Machines.
  • Experience working with small medical and/or medal piece's.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • High level of manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
  • High school diploma or GED. Technical degree preferred.
