New Graduate RN - Intensive Care Unit - Full Time - Nights (7p-7a)

$30,000 Sign-on Bonus Eligible 

Position Summary:  

• Provides direct patient care, technical support and input in planning care through communication with the RN and other patient care team members.  

• Is effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for patients in assigned unit/area. 

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including obtaining and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature as directed. 

• Will document patient care activities assigned, under supervision of Registered Nurse. 

• Observes monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. 

• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. 

• Observes as needed across disciplines coordination of patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. 

• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. 

• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
