Our life manifests the Franciscan spirit of prayer, poverty, simplicity, joy and ongoing conversion.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to provide personal care assistance for multiple skill levels, as needed. Works closely with registered nurse, communicating any changes related to well-being. Knowledge and application of proper nursing practices; body mechanics, PPE, etc. Participates in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Sisters, Visitors and Team Members. Ability to attend minimum of 12 hours of annual in service continuing education Promote and respect the dignity of each Sister and their family. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or ability to obtain by time of employment Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Illinois, or ability to be certified in the State of Illinois by time of employment Minimum 6 months or more of caregiving and service experience. Must be able to work evening, weekends, or holidays as needed.
