Assistant Pre-Construction Project Manager/Estimator

Working on a variety of new and ongoing projects at job sites throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and Northern Massachusetts they are seeking an experienced Assistant Pre-Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join their team. JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop budgets ( including full participation in pre- construction process) Develop cost estimates based on unit costs, plan and analyze takeoffs Develop scopes of work, perform analysis of hard bids Create and manage budgets Maintain sub-contractor relations Maintain up-to-date records and bids Maintain organized and accurate drawings Compile associated Hand-Off Package Support all Project Managers Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders (Owners, Engineers, Subcontractors, Etc.) QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent; 6+ years of construction experience 3+ years of Project Management and Estimating and experience and 1+ years of in-house design experience. Carlson Takeoffs. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Viewpoint Construction Accounting Software are needed. OSHA 10 certification. Excellent written and communication skills. Proficiency in Physics, Mathematics, and Structures. Valid driver’s license.
