HVAC O&M Mechanic Journeyman (un)

What you will do 

Operating at a serviceman level, performs a variety of complex services in specialized building system areas such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration including maintenance, repair, and operation.    

How you will do it  

• Performs a variety of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration service work including PM and Repair, in a truck route service environment covering a portfolio of buildings for a single client. This position is site based at a local Paper Mill in Fernandina Florida.
• Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service and repair work.  
• Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and equipment incidental to operations.  
• Requisitions new supplies and equipment.  
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.  
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.  
• Perform other duties as required.  
• Requires off-hour on-call and emergency response. 

What we look for 

Required    

• HVAC Mechanical experience
• 5-7 years of residential / light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver's license, ability to work with refrigerants, inspect and maintain roof top units, Air handling equipment and exhaust fans. Boiler operational & service knowledge optional
• Good verbal and written communication skills
