Experience:

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

This facility will not be utilizing travel clinicians from agencies if they reside within a 50 mile radius of the Riedman Campus (100 Kings Highway South Rochester, NY). .

Does NOT accept local candidates within 50 miles

Must have recent experience in MS/Tele that takes post-surgical/ cath lab patients.

Femoral Sheath pull experience preferred.

Primarily receives CHF patients, acute MI’s post device care.

Patient type: CHF, Acute MI’s, arrhythmias, acute MI’s post device care (pacemakers, AICD’s, post PTCI’s) coming from Cath Lab. NO A-lines and arterial sheaths but can take temporary external pacemakers.

Unit is staffed for acute intermediate care for cardiac patients and general medical patients.

LVAD patients are housed in this unit; no experience necessary but must be interested in learning.

RN is expected to help with blood draws.
