Position Purpose:
Perform a variety of skilled/unskilled work in the operation, maintenance, and grounds keeping of the Lake Gaston Water Supply Project.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pipeline maintenance including the lawn maintenance, of a 76 mile pipeline two PSVB'S, six river crossings a Weir structure and site security.
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School/GED
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Operate lawn mowers (riding zero turn), bush hogging (Tractor Operator), weed eater, and other small hand/power tools as needed.
- Must also be required to do water sampling and monitor SCADA on the computer.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend or squat for extended periods of time.
- Should be able to make data entries on a computer.
