Overnight Private-Duty Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate overnight caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

Pay Rate Starting At: $14 depending upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication 
• Help with mobility around the house 
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
• Ability to Lift up to 25lbs and to assist with transporting (i.e. Gait Belt or Hoyer Lift)

Qualifications:

• Have paid caregiving experience and/or a CNA, PCA, LPN, or RN
• Be age 21 or older
• Pass a comprehensive background check and reference check
• Pass PHC’s skills & knowledge assessment
• Have a valid Driver's License, a good driving record, and an insured reliable vehicle
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills; High School Diploma or equivalent
