They are seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to oversee the estimating department, working closely with management to keep standards high. What I love about this company is their culture. Job Description Communicate with Owners, Partners, Representatives, Fabricators, General Contractors, Suppliers, Architects and Consultants; Optimize job costs by negotiating prices with vendors/sub-contractors through quotations for material/services; Coordinate bid preparation requirements with the Contract Administrator; Interface with Owner and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility; Prepare budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders and assist in preliminary project schedules; Ensure proper project hand off when project is taken over by PM/Team; Review proposal specifications, drawings, and conditions to determine scope of work; Estimate Indirect cost including management, construction equipment and tools; Review all proposals internally before being submitted to Owner, Fabricator, and/or General Contractor customers; Training and mentoring of estimating staff and direct reports; What you'll need: 5+ year's steek estimating experience; Experience in industrial & commercial structural & miscellaneous construction work; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred; Benefits: Dental Insurance Life Insurance Vision Insurance Medical Insurance Travel re-imbursement 401k 3 weeks PTO 9 Holidays Company events Sound like something you're interested in?
