Purchaser / Inventory Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Purchaser / Inventory Manager to join our client's team in Arlington, WA. This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity to start a career with steady company that offers an awesome company culture!

The buyer is responsible for overseeing projects and maintaining inventory levels to bring those projects to completion. In addition to ordering parts, you will negotiate pricing with vendors, oversee production processes, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Ideal candidate will have previous purchasing experience, excel in multitasking and problem-solving and exhibit professional communication. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus!

The schedule is 7 a.m.  to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory: tracking, monitoring, and ordering all parts in advance
• Coordinate production: schedule tasks, ensure quality, meet deadlines
• Communicate with clients: address inquiries, provide updates professionally
• Implement and optimize MRP systems
• Conduct quality control inspections
• Maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management and production coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in inventory software and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Motivated, adaptable, proactive
• Familiarity with metals is preferred
