SHIPPING CLERK! 1ST SHIFT! 4 DAY WORKWEEK (M-TH)! GREAT COMPANY! GREAT CULTURE! GREAT BENEFITS! The Shipping Clerk maintains distribution of product by pulling orders from the shop floor; preparing and staging finished product, and loading/unloading trucks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Packaging of product. Performs warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products. Measures, weighs, and counts products and materials. Records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Maintains area machines and equipment used in shipping and receiving. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Seals containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. Load and unload trucks. Applies shipping documentation and labeling to outgoing packages. Manages finished goods inventory in shipping department. REQUIREMENTS: ? ? Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. plus stand for extended periods Be able to read basic drawings. ? Can perform basic calculations using shop Math. Read and comprehend standard operating procedures and be willing to learn. Have experience safety operating commercial grade wood cutting equipment. Able to accurately use a tape measure. Have a Mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills. Can operate an industrial lift truck. PC Proficiency.
