Job Duties

Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main care giver by providing necessary support for all activities of daily living
Maintain patient stability: monitor weight and vitals as well as input and output and administer tests
Communicate any observations in change of resident's status to the nursing team
Document actions by completing forms, reports, and logs

Qualifications

Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate upon hire.
Have experience in the long-term care setting or the drive to work in a fast paced environment
Treat each resident with care, compassion, and respect
Are patient team players with the ability to adapt to easily to change
Communicate effectively with the residents you care for as well as the nursing team

Southwestern Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Pittsburgh, PA is seeking to a full-time Front Desk Receptionist. The typical schedule is working every other weekend, some evenings and some holidays.

Job Duties

· Direct telephone calls to the proper extension.

· Provide excellence in customer service when answering incoming calls and directing to appropriate personnel

· Page designated person when the need requires.

· Receive and channel all messages in a responsible manner.

· Greet visitors and vendors

· Alert Office Supervisor if problems arise.

· Send drivers to pick up residents from doctor appointments.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Office Supervisor, as needed.

Qualifications & Key Characteristics

Previous receptionist experience highly preferred
Customer service experience required
Possess a warm, friendly, and welcoming demeanor
Possess effective communication skills
Always willing to go above and beyond when it comes to assisting our residents, visitors, out-side vendors and team members
