Project Manager / Payroll Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our client's team in Everett, WA. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in payroll management, QuickBooks software proficiency, and the ability to handle payroll responsibilities for multiple states and companies. Familiarity with ADP software is considered advantageous.

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (10-hour days)

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll processes for multi-state/multi-company environments.
• Manage payroll for 1-50 employees. Utilize QuickBooks software for accurate and timely data entry.
• Familiarity with ADP software is beneficial.
• Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Identify and implement measures to enhance payroll efficiencies.
• Work towards reducing costs across the business.
• Generate financial reports related to payroll.
• Analyze payroll data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with external bookkeeping teams for seamless financial operations.
• Maintain effective communication channels for payroll-related matters.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks.
• Reconcile discrepancies and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential; familiarity with ADP software is a plus.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. 
• Proven track record of improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with external teams. 
• Ability to adapt to changing payroll requirements and regulations.
