STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Food & Beverage Team Member is responsible for providing efficient food service procedures to be used in all food areas and to assist the Food & Beverage operations in daily preparations and execution of events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepares menus and displays
- Consistently checks inventory and makes necessary orders
- Assists with catering orders: supply, food preparations, room setup, service, breakdown, etc.
- Stock food court and all concession stands
- Follows all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations including safe food handling procedures
- Maintains clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures
- Supervises part-time team members to ensure safe and proper handling of food, products, and equipment
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safe Serve Certification or similar certification
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- 2+ years of experience in the food service industry
- Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages
- Flexible work schedule and regular attendance
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. waist-high
- Will be required to stand for extended periods
- The facility has intermittent noise
