Overview: GRN High Plains is seeking a driven and experienced Beef Nutrition Consultant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert consulting and advisory services to beef producers (feedlot, cow calf, stocker, etc..), focusing on optimizing their nutrition and management strategies. Leveraging your expertise in beef nutrition and management, collaborate closely with clients to enhance their operational efficiency & overall herd health.


Key Responsibilities:

Engage in in-depth consultations with beef operation to assess their nutrition and management needs and provide actionable recommendations. Leverage your comprehensive understanding of beef nutrition (feedlot, cow calf) and management to analyze herd performance data, feed practices, and health indicators.

Develop customized nutrition and management plans that align with each client's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with beef operations to implement best practices, ensure effective feed utilization, and enhance overall herd well-being.

Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes related to beef nutrition and management.

Prospect and cultivate new beef clients to expand Dellait's client base.

Collaborate with existing team ofbeef consultants to share insights and best practices, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.

Provide timely & effective communication to clients regarding updates, recommendations, and progress.

Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, recommendations, and outcomes.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, masters degree, or PhD. in animal science, dairy science, nutrition, or related field.

Proven experience as a Beef Nutrition Consultant with nutrition emphasis.

Expertise in formulating nutrition & management strategies for dairy across various production stages.

Strong analytical skills to interpret herd performance data and recommend actionable solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proven track record of effectively prospecting and acquiring new clients.

Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in dairy nutrition and management.

Willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Benefits:
