JOB SUMMARY
Buyer is responsible for purchasing of raw materials, part, supplies, equipment, and office supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtains the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost.
- Develops and ensures all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper required approvals.
- Reviews requisition for accuracy and completeness and prepares and processes assigned purchase order.
- Monitors, reorders, and purchases items needed for inventory.
- Creates and reconciles reports to ensure accuracy of payables.
- Coordinates with vendors in accuracy on availability, price, and delivery of items.
- Expedites the delivery of purchases as necessary to achieve production and customer demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelors degree required.
- 2-4 years' experience required.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
