It connects business priorities with product roadmaps and drives product management standards across the Digital Workplace organization.  At American Express, Digital Workplace aims to create the World’s Best Colleague Experience, which starts with great product management.Role DescriptionThe Director, Strategic Partnerships will report into the Vice President Head of Product Digital Workplace.  The role will manage stakeholder engagements, Customer Advisory Boards, and overall partnerships with Business lines.  You will play a meaningful role in supporting the Digital Workplace organization by contributing to overall technology and business planning.  The insights gained by the Strategic Partnerships team will inform product roadmaps so that business priorities are aligned with product development.  The role will be responsible for product promotion within the business, partnering with Technology Communications to determine most effective channels and continually measure impact of product releases, usage, and changes.Key Responsibilities Represent Digital Workplace as single point of contact/escalation for major business linesGather requirements and input from business partners to inform/influence product roadmapsProactively communicate critical information on upcoming product releasesProvide input to customer sentiment and overall customer satisfactionBe the 'go to' partner and lead efforts to progress key initiativesCollaborate with key Product and Engineering leaders and other partner teams to drive critical initiatives, and define clear goals and success criteriaCommunicate business priorities and goals to the Digital Workplace product teams in effort to align roadmaps across organizations Provide input into the determination of key product strategies and long-term goalsCollaborate with senior leaders to develop educational strategy across stakeholder groups to ensure effective collaboration and decision-makingCollaborate with senior leaders and across the Product organization to recommend improvements to portfolios that are highly complex or have broad impact to the organizationCollaborates with Technology Communications to plan and define the approach to communicationsLead diverse, inclusive, and geographically dispersed teams, inspiring employee engagement, retention, progression, and performance management Identify opportunities to drive a culture of design thinking, continuous innovation, and discovery within the product delivery lifecycle while elevating customer journeysCreate and deliver executive-level and stakeholder communications, elevating the product teams unified messages to drive decisions and accelerate agile decision makingDesired Skills      7-10 years product management      5-7 years stakeholder management      Ability to translate business requirements to product deliverables      Ability to lead large customer forums      Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies      Strong verbal & written communication      Working knowledge of NPS, customer satisfaction methodologies      Ability to handle difficult conversations and manage “customer-facing” engagementsQualificationsSalary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
