Your job is to understand your portfolio companies' business model and strategically position SVB’s Treasury Management solutions. You are responsible for retaining and driving revenue growth in your assigned markets by providing client focused solutions to our client’s challenges. You’ll collaborate with external and internal partners to architect scalable solutions for clients and prospects, with a focus on Credit Card issuance and Merchant Services acceptance.  The ability to partner with SVB colleagues is critical to help drive client friendly cross-sell efforts and enhance SVB client relationships.  This role requires a leader with vision in the Treasury Management space.  By providing relevant insight you’ll become a trusted advisor for your clients. In this role you will:Make a difference!Increase the bank’s profitability by using a professional, consultative selling approach in expanding the use of Treasury Management services.Assess your customer needs and recommend effective strategies; negotiate pricing to optimize profitability; and provide market competitive solutions for clients.Review client portfolios to determine gaps in treasury management products or opportunities to expand existing relationships. Be recognized as trusted advisor in payments products and services, including having your finger on the pulse of payment technologies.Establish and maintain a high level of client satisfaction across your assigned portfolio.Develop sales strategies to meet sales goals and product penetration goals.Partner with senior Managers in the Commercial Bank to achieve cross sell goals.Assess the risk connected with potential solutions in collaboration with RMs. The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $142,586.00 – $213,880.00 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Creating strategic and positive client experiences that help us build long term customers. Curiosity and self-motivation are two key characteristics of our most successful salespeople.Related experience in the middle market/large corporate life stage with either a product or sales focus. Strong aptitude for payment and technology solutions. Once on board, you will be provided a thorough knowledge of SVB’s bank operations, platforms and products.Skilled in crafting effective client facing and internal communications. The ability to effectively communicate your ideas and thoughts via written or verbal channels.The ability to manage the evolving landscape of the Payment industry. Technology is driving rapid change in our space. This means our Team must adapt quickly to this change to maintain SVB market leadership role.The ability to work and think independently and strategically is critical. This is not a linear role. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Multi-tasking and prioritization skills are critical to monitor and engage with the multiple projects and colleagues in tandem with your portfolio of clients.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that are necessary for success in a business-to-business sales setting.Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint enabling you to download & sort information, look for analytic value and present ideas in a simple but effective format. Highly Preferred: Strong understanding of the domestic and international deposit and treasury products and services used most frequently by middle market/large corporate sized businesses.Certification as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) desired.
