Job Summary:The primary purpose of this role is to be a technology resource between Human Resources, IT, and other areas within our business. This includes responsibility for providing the highest level of technical and functional expertise in a HR System specific domain. This includes having demonstrated independent work in the design and implementation of very complex solutions, and knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of industry/vendor solutions and capabilities within the enterprise. This role acts as the technical expert for these technology platforms inside Lowe's to ensure all HR Systems function properly and to identify process improvement opportunities in the organization. Key Responsibilities:Resolves complex problems spanning across multiple Workday modules and workstreams to drive improvements; leads projects with significant business implications, participates in planning and priority estimates, and advises other HR systems resource; executes with limited guidanceLeads development of integrated HR solutions to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standardsSupports component integration testing (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams in order to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverageMentors and advises others in all HR system development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controlsCommunicates changes in software architecture and coaches others to apply this understanding to Data or Platform solutions; resolves escalated issuesLeads efforts to improve HR systems configuration, test, and operational excellence best practicesSolves complex cross-functional architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of HR systems by leveraging partnerships with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issuesDrives the adoption of the HR product supported by researching innovative technical trends and developmentsParticipates in developing solution strategies and roadmaps within a specific domainMonitors systems performance and continuously creates improvement recommendationsResearches, designs and schedules standardized reports, or creates ad hoc reports or data queries utilizing appropriate tools and systemsRequired Experience:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology or related field6 Years Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software; experience in maintenance, enhancement and project initiatives related to a specific domain; ability to convert IT terminology to business case terms; experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC); experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions; experience leading teams, with or without direct reports6 Years Knowledge of current Lowe's Enterprise Resource Planning software (Workday)Preferred Experience: Masters Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology or related field4 Years Experience working for a large organization and/or global retailer or Workday Implementation vendor8 Years experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software; experience in maintenance, enhancement and project initiatives related to a specific domain; ability to convert IT terminology to business case terms; experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC); experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions; experience leading teams, with or without direct reportsAbout Lowe’s Lowe's Companies, Inc.
