In this role, you will be responsible for Technical Product Management for Verizon’s Enterprise Planning Platform in Oracle EPM Cloud. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and Network to create consolidated and integrated financial and operational plans to improve forecast accuracy by leveraging driver, trend, and predictive planning methodologies. Your work will focus on shaping business processes, product vision & strategy, technical roadmap, and backlogs around key mission objectives delivering features from concept to launch through agile delivery methodologies, ensuring value realization, run governance, and support that delivers outstanding business results/user experience.In this role, you will be delivering large and complex process transformation and system implementations including end to end process design, functional design, technical / solution architecture, human-centered design, environment & deployment strategies, operational readiness, and change management.  The Sr. Product Manager will be equal parts business and technical leader who will drive transformation at scale and set rigorous technical/architectural standards. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction for financial planning and forecasting capabilities.While focusing on driving the innovation agenda, you as the leader will work with internal & external industry leaders to shape world-class capabilities and enable continuous improvement. As a people leader, in this role you will drive a large team of Verizon Technical Product Owners and 3rd party partners, as well as influence Global Process Owners, to deliver transformative solutions. You will make decisions regarding hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions. You will also be involved in coaching, training and motivating the team to achieve subject matter expertise. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Owning agile delivery, technical product roadmap, and backlog execution processes for Financial Planning and Forecasting product journeys.Developing, own, and execute the technical product roadmap, and end-to-end data strategy / vision, including governance and continuous improvement.Partnering with stakeholders to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.Prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlogs for assigned products, balancing the requirements of the business.Leading the technical product functional design process.Identifying and drive strategy for implementation of new systems and applications, including prototyping and feature road mappingDriving strategy for upgrades and enhancements to existing Oracle EPM Cloud applications and manages future software direction and enhancements.Managing large teams while driving engagement from subordinates to build a high performing team, including directing cross-functional and/or matrixed agile teams.Effectively partnering across the business and IT for successful implementations.Overseeing Organizational Change Management impacts to your organizationWhat we’re looking for..You'll need to have:Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.Even better if you have one or more of the following:Experience in building and maintaining relevant systems (Hyperion Planning, Oracle EPBCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, FDMEE/Data Management, Essbase, EPM Automate).Experience in taking a company forward in a fast-growth environment, providing insight for direction, and managing change effectively.Experience managing financial planning and forecasting applications.Experience managing large, cross functional, matrixed, dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment.Experience in the successful delivery of agile developed productsExperience in product management, including product management lifecycle and practices such a road mapping, prototyping, outcomes and key results (OKR) setting and tracking, human centered design and value case developmentExperience with innovation utilizing technology that delivers business valueExperience driving customer focus recognizing the impact of decisions on end users.Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.​Where you’ll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Equal Employment OpportunityWe’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees’ differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
