Senior Enterprise Architect

DescriptionSAIC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect with a strong background in AWS, exceptional leadership abilities, excellent soft skills, hands-on experience in communicating with business users, product owners, and business architects, and a demonstrated ability to create Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents. Key Responsibilities:Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring it supports the organization's current and future needs.AWS Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be able to design, implement, and optimize AWS solutions that meet the organization's technical requirements.Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the architecture team, guiding them in the development of architectural solutions and best practices.Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute technology strategies that support business growth and innovation.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, business units, business users, product owners, and IT teams, to understand their needs and ensure architectural solutions align with business objectives.Solutioning: Work closely with business users, product owners, and business architects to understand their current challenges and pain points, and help in solutioning by translating business requirements into technical solutions.Roadmap Creation: Create roadmaps that outline the steps and milestones needed to implement architectural solutions and address business challenges effectively.Technical Documentation: Develop Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents that provide clear guidance on technology solutions, including architecture, components, and integration strategies.Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they adhere to architectural standards and best practices.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, ensuring the stability and security of systems and applications.Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party solutions and vendors, ensuring they align with the enterprise architecture.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (4 years experience in lieu of degreeProven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a minimum of 9 years of experience.U.S. Citizenship required for Public TrustStrong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).Hands-on experience in communicating with business users, product owners, and business architects.Demonstrated ability to create Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents.Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices is a plus.Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in enterprise architectureExceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
