Actively involved in key customer negotiations to drive and implement pricing strategies and targets. Leads strategic pricing processes and tools for the within the Region. Supports commercial strategy execution and drives profit and margin improvement.Core Job Responsibilities:Provide deal-specific support to commercial teams to increase win rates and profitable growth. Advises on deal pricing and contract terms for upcoming dealsUtilizes pricing index tool to provide pricing guidance and maintain price integrity; ensures comparable are current for all critical deals to include competitive and win/loss pricing intelligences to guide future price decision makingLeverages experience with past deals to provide expertise and generates competitive insightsLeads the deal approval process within the Region Commercial Team and with Area Division Vice President (DVP)Lead implementation of strategic pricing tools and processes in alignment with division guidelines to support acquisition opportunities.Enforces compliance of current contracts, including price increases and commitment adherence Identifies opportunities that drive gross margin and economic profitability improvement and engage with appropriate parties for execution.Coordinate with local country resources to ensure new contracts for key customers are executed in alignment with country legal requirements and guidelines.Coordinate and supervise post-signing contract maintenance activities with local country resources: Loading/auditing pricing in local systems, price increases execution, letters to customers, credit memos, adjustments, rebates.Sets new product pricing and pricing schedules annually based on local knowledge in accordance with global requirements.Support Managing Director with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and deliverables.Accountability and Scope:Reports to Strategic Pricing Director.Collaborates with Commercial Sales Team, Managing Director, Finance, Commercial Excellence, Contract & Pricing and Training.Customer responsibility spans through multiple geographies (US states).Accountable for pricing integrity and profitability improvement.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree.Minimum 6 years of total business experience supporting commercial (sales/marketing). Pricing, large data or profitability analysis experience preferred.Strong leadership / management skills.Strategic thinker with effective communication skills to drive cross functional collaboration         * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
