Read on to learn more about this exciting development opportunity, and for application instructions. Detailed Description:The Local Leader fosters the BC Experience for all employees in an office, and for the clients and business partners in the markets in which they engage, by modeling behavior that reflects BC values.  The Local Leader plays a critical role in leading the engagement of all employees in an office location, regardless of the group to which they belong; driving organizational health and enabling the virtual enterprise from the local office level and across the business. Communicating company information to employees in the office they lead, including being on point for key messages during local and/or national incidents is a vital role of the Local Leader.The Local Leader role is an “in addition to” job, where the responsibilities are usually in addition to another role such as Project Manager, Client Service Manager, Portfolio Design Manager, or operations leader in the market.  Duties include the following:Understand and promote the Brown and Caldwell Company of Choice Strategy (CoC Strategy) Model BC Values to our employees and clients Communicate and model BC Safety standards to all BC employees Lead the organizational health of the office through an “open door policy” for all BC employees Facilitate the completion of, and respond to issues identified in, the BC Organizational Health Survey Manage BC social spending funds for the office to maximize employee benefit Connect the municipal, enterprise, private sector, and corporate staff into a unified office team around BC Values and Mission Develop and lead community engagement efforts and organize local resources for participation and impact Serve as an extension of the Company/Enterprise/Regional/Area Leadership to convey important Company information and promote initiatives Work with leaders in all groups to help recruit, retain and develop employees Network with other Local Leaders to help ensure mutual success and to collaborate/share best practices Be a visible leader in the environmental industry in the office geography and within the BusinessHold monthly staff meetings to inform and engage all staff assigned to the officeIn Reno, the Local Leader will also serve as the Municipal Operations Leader, who will work closely with the Desert Area Leader, and Business Unit Leader to lead sales and/or business operations for the office. Goals for the Municipal Operation Leaders will be set by the Business Leader, and support Business sales, revenue, initiative, and/or labor management goals.  Responsibilities include client portfolio management, initiative management, project delivery oversight, and total labor management within the Business.  A successful Operations Leader demonstrates the ability to lead BC employees and work collaboratively with other leaders in the best interest of our Company.
