You will exhibit Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors and effectively balance your workload between both your program and functional assignments, showing strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.You will be responsible for the management of team members working on the Exploration MSAC, Scientific Exploration-DSE team, providing programmatic oversight, budget management, delegation of tasks, effective resource utilization, identifying and mitigating/implementing risks/opportunities, performing Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities relative to IRAD and B&P, and working closely with other functional teams.Functional management includes performance evaluations, career development mentorship, program assignments, merit and salary actions, training plans, staffing and recruiting. You will be responsible for providing technical mentoring and guiding work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.Technical duties include: provide technical direction and review of mission design, analysis, simulation, and implementation tasks that requires extensive expertise in orbit mission design and analysis. Typical tasks: develop spacecraft propellant budget, spacecraft mission designs, and spacecraft and launch vehicle interface support. Mission design includes transfer orbit burn plans, launch windows, ground station contacts, and stationkeeping. Position may involve work from pre-proposal study phase, proposals, contract phase (PDR, CDR, and pre-launch analysis), pre-flight planning, transfer orbit mission operations and on-orbit spacecraft maneuver planning and operations. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $114,100 - $218,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
