Full-time Diesel Technician/Mechanic

A thriving Mecklenburg County, VA business is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a successful history in preventive maintenance and repair on just about everything mechanical with a motor.  Your responsibilities and daily workload will be varied vehicles, trucks, trailers to machinery.  Fleet maintenance or farm equipment maintenance is highly recommended.

Job Highlights:

• Diesel Mechanical troubleshooting
• Complete preventive Maintenance, install part upgrades, and control corrosion to keep vehicles running and available for service.
• Perform adjustments, alignments and repairs to correct any vehicle deficiencies.
• Collaborate with coworkers to get repairs done in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of services for fleet for all repairs, inspections, oil changes
• Operate and understand hydraulics

Pay Range: $21-$27/hour

Evaluation to Hire Position

What we are looking for:

• Experience working on diesel engines and managing tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and operate heavy machinery
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving
