We are looking for a responsible experienced logistics professional to help coordinate the daily activities and challenges within a warehouse environment. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time constraints.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following.

* Daily supervision of staff in the shipping, receiving storing, and transfer of finished goods and raw materials.

* Ensure complete compliance by personnel with all procedures, policies and rules in effect at Amys Kitchen.

* Create and maintain employee files (i.e. training, attendance, and performance)

* Effectively supervise the handling finished and raw material holds.

* Organize and manage the receipt, put away, and storage of raw materials.

* Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories

* Proficiency in the use of bar-coding equipment to assure proper inventory transactions

* Maintain equipment records (daily checklist compliance, repairs, ID System reporting)

* May be assigned specific

* Leads immediate problem solving at the front line and minimizes repeat mistakes.

* In this individuals absence, Assistant Supervisor can cover their duties and responsibilities.

* Other duties as assigned.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reports to and receives daily instructions from Logistics Operations Manager. Directly supervises all employees in Warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Holds regular scheduled meetings with reports. Works with the Logistics Operations Manager, developing policies and standards for a safe, clean work environment. Keeps adequate supplies and inventory of materials needed for the ongoing operation of the warehouse (i.e., pallets, pallet pads and stretch-wrap film).

EDUCATION

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE

* Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
