Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Specialist with a focus on electrical systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance needs of our facility, managing assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or as an electrician specialist, coupled with strong knowledge of asset management practices and the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise, implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage asset inventory, including tagging, tracking, and ordering necessary supplies and replacement parts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure alignment with production and operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels, utilizing relevant software systems as needed.
• Stay updated with advancements in technology and industry best practices, incorporating them into maintenance strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness among staff members.
• Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff on electrical maintenance procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Specialist, Electrician, or similar role with a focus on electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, equipment operation, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with asset management processes, including tagging, tracking, and inventory management.
• Excellent understanding of the technology industry, with the ability to adapt maintenance strategies to meet industry-specific requirements.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
