Job description: 
The Trezz Group is a full service commercial and industrial door company with clients all over the US. With over 30 years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we are the preferred installer for several manufacturers. Trezz has extensive experience with aircraft hangar doors, serving private hangars, military bases, and airports. Commercially we service hollow metal, rolling steel, sectional doors, sheet doors, canvas doors, high speed doors, blast doors as well as glass store fronts and security gates. We not only offer installation, but also design and build guidance, consulting, fire door inspections, routine maintenance and repair services.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Communicate with client while on site.
  • Perform service and installation on a variety of commercial doors to include the mechanisms, mechanical systems and electrical circuits associated with each.
  • Troubleshoot and repair doors, industrial equipment, and related mechanisms.
  • Fabricate or alter parts, weld, and resolve problems as required by job.
  • Perform other inspections and assessments to include documentation of findings.
  • Complete work orders adding notes, pictures, and signatures for each job.
  • Provide information to order parts or create repair plan of action.
  • Follow company and OSHA safety rules to avoid injuries and damage to property.
  • Manage unused materials and clean-up work area debris.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, winches, or other machinery as needed on jobsite.

 

Requirements:

  • Professional attitude, strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Experience with industrial doors and/or maintenance, or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of welding practices, ability to weld and fabricate as needed
  • Ability to effectively use app based technology to submit electronic data
  • Must be able to pass standard physical, drug screen and background check
  • Must have High school diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights of 10+ feet
  • Willing to work overtime and travel as needed

 

Performance Measures: 

Performance will be evaluated in safety, completion time for projects, customer satisfaction, issue resolution, punctuality, jobsite cleanliness, attitude, professionalism, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information. Technical school and certifications a plus.
