The Detroit Pizza Bar is a Modern Trendy Eatery with full-service restaurant and bar complete with a rooftop terrace. The focus of Detroit Pizza Bar is of course pizza, offering vegan and gluten free options along with a full urban Italian menu. DPB is a hybrid between fine dining and casual dining restaurants. We seek to disrupt the urban dining model in two ways first; by offering more responsive table and customer service.
Location
Detroit Pizza Bar will be located in the Liv|6 neighborhood. The physical address is 7316 West McNichols St, Detroit MI. This will be a 4,500 square foot commercial building, with a rooftop terrace that will service 198 patrons.

Job summary
- Pay: $12.00-$15.00 per hour, based on experience.

Pizza Marker responsibilities and duties
- Prepare all ingredients and make sure all ingredients are stocked.
- Memorize and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, and portions.
- Follow standard recipes and special orders if necessary.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
- Clean and maintain your prep area, equipment, and utensils.
- Keeping station cleaned, stocked, and organized.
- Following duties given by management
- Have a sense of urgency.
- Ensuring fresh product being served at all times, by properly rotating.
- Able to consistently prepare food up to company standard.
- Weight, measure, and portion following company recipes.
- Inspect and clean kitchen ensuring we are following sanitary food handling practices.
Pizza Maker qualifications and skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Follows directions and instructions.
- Follow all portion sizes and guidance for dishes and recipes.
- Show up on time and ready for work every day.
- Maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful situation.
- Treat all coworkers with respect including FOH staff.
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g., in refrigerators)
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
Work Experience Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Pizza Maker.
- Knowledge of cooking, techniques, and food in general
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Always be willing to stay focused on the task at hand.
- Ability multi-task under pressure
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
