The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Manager, Ethics & Compliance within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics-Acelis Connected Health Supplies business located in Pleasanton, CA. Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott Diagnostics family businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry-leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides essential information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. This role is accountable to the Sr. Manager, Ethics & Compliance and OEC divisional team. They will be assigned matters/business units have at a moderate impact on Abbott’s compliance program.  They will operate independently within well-defined expectations, checking in with their manager.    

What You’ll Work On

  • Be responsible for the organization's ethics/business conduct programs.
  • Provide specialized support in areas such as training, transparency, investigations, third party process and monitoring.
  • Define standards for appropriate business conduct and oversee investigations of potential wrongdoing.
  • Provide support for developing, updating, and maintaining elements of Abbott’s compliance program.
  • Assist in the development, administration, and implementation of OEC education and training (including supporting materials).
  • Assist in the development, administration, and implementation of divisional monitoring.
  • Identify compliance risk areas and recommend action plans to Sr. Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with, or exposure to, business functions such as compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, government affairs, and finance. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid, Joint Commission or state credentialing compliance required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, Masters, JD, or equivalent work experience preferred

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
