 Speech Therapist (Short-Term Contract)

Are you a Speech Therapist with CCCs seeking a rewarding short-term opportunity? Spindle Staffing is currently hiring for a part-time Speech Therapist to work on a short-term contract with a school in Redding, California. 

Type: Part-time (Short-Term Contract)

Duties: Onsite assessments, report writing, attendance and facilitation of IEPs, provision of services to medically fragile students, SLPA supervision

Caseload: 45 students on speech caseload, Pre K - 8th grade

Requirements:

• Must hold CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System).
• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.

Hourly Pay: $60 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Write comprehensive reports documenting assessment findings and recommendations.
• Attend and facilitate Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Provide speech therapy services to students with diverse needs, including medically fragile students.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support students' communication goals.
