Job Description
We are setting up interviews with Special Education Teachers for multiple full time positions in Morton, Illinois for the upcoming school year. The school district has multiple positions open and will consider either onsite or virtual/remote services. Interested in WFH (working from home)/ teletherapy? Call me. We are looking for applicants who are flexible, patient, skilled, and passionate about teaching.
Some available caseloads include: Grades 9-12, ED grades 5-8, Inclusion grades 5-8, Therapeutic Day Program K-4th, Therapeutic Day program grades 6-7th, Cross Categorical grades K-2nd, Early Childhood Resource
- REQUIRED: Active Illinois Special Ed license in hand (LBS1)
Job Duties:
- Administer assessments to evaluate skill levels, progress and achievement
- Provide instruction
- Behavior management
- Schedule and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and revise IEPs for students
- Consult with parents and staff
